The adventure continues! Join us for Hike #2 of the Tecumseh Trail Challenge! If you’re all in for the series, be sure to register for the “Tecumseh Trail Challenge - 4-Section Hike Package.” This second hike is another thrilling 10-12 miles on the Tecumseh Trail, crafted for adventurous women, 18 and older, who love a longer trek and have some hiking experience. Expedition Details: Our “Expeditions” are designed to inspire and challenge you to connect deeply with nature, while building skills that last a lifetime. On this hike, we’ll cover one 10-mile section of the Tecumseh Trail, sharing insights into backpacking and gear essentials that will serve you well on future long-distance journeys. Tentative Schedule: Plan for 6-8 hours of outdoor excitement—any updates to the schedule will be communicated by email. Saturday, February 8th, 9 am Route: Morgan-Monroe State Forest/Yellowwood Section 2 - Bear Lake to Indian Hill Skills Session: Backpacking Gear Basics – Learn what you need for the trail and how to choose the right gear! A shuttle will be available at the end of the hike to bring you back to the starting point. We’ll send specific parking instructions by email before each hike. What’s Included: • Commemorative Gift: A unique item to remember this part of your journey. • Live Pre-Hike Zoom: Two weeks before the hike, join Laura and Tracy for a Zoom session where they’ll answer your questions and share key details. A recording will be sent to those who can’t join live. • Personal Support: Access our guides via email anytime from sign-up through hike day for tailored advice and assistance. • Lunch on the Trail: Enjoy lunch provided mid-hike, with some extra snacks available. Feel free to bring your personal favorites! • Weather Alert: Hikes go ahead rain or shine, with refunds only available in cases of extreme conditions.
